In Monday's non-league contest, the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Aliceville Yellowjackets (Aliceville, AL), by a margin of 20-5.
With the triumph, Pickens County moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to South Lamar (Millport, AL) to play the Stallions in a 1A Area 9 contest on Monday, March 28. The Stallions come into the contest with a record of 4-3.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 17. Aliceville will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Stampede come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 23-14 non-league win over Wenonah (Birmingham, AL).
