Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) and the host Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL), witnessed Bibb County's softball squad prevail over Gordo by a count of 21-5.

The Choctaws now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host West Blocton for a 4A Area 5 match on Thursday, March 17. Bibb County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Gordo moves to 6-6 on the season. The Green wave travel to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 29. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 2-5.
