Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Battling Bishops now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy for a AAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 22.
With the loss, Charleston Math & Science falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Riptide host Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC) to face the Warriors in a A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
