Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA) and the visiting Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA), witnessed Chaminade's softball squad tip Calabasas by a count of 7-5.

The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame (SO) for a Mission match on Thursday, March 17. Chaminade will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Alemany (Mission Hills, CA). The Knights record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Calabasas moves to 4-11 on the season. The Coyotes host Agoura (Agoura, CA) to face the Chargers in a Marmonte match on Tuesday, March 15. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 8-4. Agoura won 11-2 in their recent league match against Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA)
