The Mustangs now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanford-Fritch for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Claude will face a Eagles squad coming off a 21-2 non-league win over Booker (Booker, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Gruver falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host West Texas (Stinnett, TX) to face the Comanches in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge on Monday, March 21. The Comanches enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
