North Carolina High School Softball - Falls Lake gets by Vance County

March 14, 2022: Creedmoor, NC 27522

The Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) softball nipped the visiting Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Firebirds (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Granville Central was edged by East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC), 17-1, in a non-league bout.

The Vipers now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Durham for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 16. Vance County will confront a Knights squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
