The South Lenoir Blue Devils routed the host Hobbton Wildcats softball squad by a count of 21-1 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Blue Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks go into the East Central 2A battle with a 2-0 record.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they host North Duplin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 15. Hobbton will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
