Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Parrots now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Hollywood for a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 16. Poly will face a Huskies squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Northridge Academy falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pumas host Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Sotomayor won 20-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA)
