The Ledford Panthers crushed the host North Surry Greyhounds baseball team by a count of 17-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 15. Ledford will face a Nighthawks team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 15. North Surry will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Granite Bears enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 13-5 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
