Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) and the host Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS), saw Northeast Jones's baseball squad beat Sylva Bay Academy by a margin of 14-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 18. Northeast Jones will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record.

The Saints now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lamar Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 14. Sylva Bay Academy will play a Lions squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Russell Christian Academy (Meridian, MS). The Lions record now stands at 7-6.
