The Porter Ridge Pirates nudged the visiting West Stanly Colts baseball team by a tally of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league game.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Hopewell was edged by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 10-8, in a non-league game.
The Colts (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Mount Pleasant tipped South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 2-1, in a league game.
