The Pittsburg Pirates held off the visiting Berean Christian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Cerrito for a non-league test on Thursday, March 23.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Broncos enter the test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Northgate was nudged by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
