With the win, Polytechnic upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Panthers host Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to play the Kares in a Prep bout on Thursday, March 16. The Kares go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Rio Hondo Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Temple City for a Rio Hondo bout on Thursday, March 16. Monrovia will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league win over San Marino (San Marino, CA). The Rams record now stands at 6-5.
