Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) in a 3A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, March 17. Dawson County will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 9-1 league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA).
The Bobcats now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to White County for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 17. Gilmer will face a Warriors team coming off a 9-1 league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.
