In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the North Iredell Raiders.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, East Forsyth nipped Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the Western Foothills 3A battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, St. Stephens nipped Crest (Shelby, NC), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
