In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Newnan Cougars soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Stephenson Jaguars.
The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots come into the 6A Region 5 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Paulding County was overwhelmed by South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Panthers come into the 4A Region 6 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Southwest DeKalb was overwhelmed by Clarkston (Clarkston, GA), 11-1, in a league battle.
