The Spain Park Jaguars soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights to 1 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Jaguars face the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) in a 7A Area 6 contest, on Friday, March 17. Spain Park will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Thompson (Alabaster, AL).
The Knights now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altamont for a 1A-3A Area 5 contest on Thursday, March 16. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will face a Knights team coming off a 1-1 non-league John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Knights record now stands at 0-0.
