The Mavericks now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Silver for a non-league match on Thursday, March 16. Lordsburg will face a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Hatch Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bears host Cobre (Bayard, NM) to face the Indians in a test on Wednesday, April 5. The Indians enter the test with a record of 0-3.
