Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX), 19-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Copperas Cove for a challenge on Friday, March 17.

With the loss, Temple falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX) to battle the Knights in a challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Harker Heights lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Midway (Waco, TX)
