Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 10-9 in a non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cary for a Southwest Wake test on Friday, March 17. Apex Friendship will face a Imps squad coming off a 18-4 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Imps record now stands at 0-6.
In their next game, the Capitals face the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 15. Broughton will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 13-10 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
