The Woodson Cavaliers lacrosse team scored 7 points and limited the host Chantilly Chargers to 5 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans enter the Patriot game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, West Springfield edged Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 17-8, in a non-league game.
The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
