The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), saw West Springfield's lacrosse team top Washington-Liberty by a margin of 17-8.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Patriot challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Woodson beat Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 7-5, in a non-league challenge.
