In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Greene County Tigers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Washington-Wilkes Tigers.
The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Harlem nipped Salem (Conyers, GA), 11-3, in a league battle.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Area 8 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Towns County was nudged by Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA), 6-0, in a league battle.
