Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) and the visiting East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), witnessed Brewer's softball squad prevail over East Limestone by a count of 11-2.

The Patriots now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Holly Pond for a non-league match on Thursday, March 16. Brewer will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to West End (Walnut Grove, AL). The Broncos record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, East Limestone moves to 0-5 on the season. The Indians travel to West Limestone (Lester, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, March 16. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 8-2. West Limestone won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL)
