Utah High School Softball - Lone Peak bounces Brighton

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) and the visiting Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), witnessed Lone Peak's softball squad prevail over Brighton by a count of 12-1.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Cedar Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, March 16.

With the loss, Brighton moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bengals travel to Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT) to face the Eagles in a 5A Region 6 match on Wednesday, March 15. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-3.
