Garfield Bulldogs (Seattle, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Metro challenge on Thursday, March 16. Garfield will face a Roughriders squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Burlington-Edison falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to face the Red Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Red Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
