With the triumph, Hamshire-Fannett moves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Longhorns host Splendora (Splendora, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region III District 20 game on Friday, March 31. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-9.

In their next game, the Broncos play the Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 game, on Tuesday, March 21. Dayton will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Liberty (Liberty, TX).
