The Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) softball routed the host Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA), 21-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Patriots (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Neville (Monroe, LA). The Tigers go into the 4A District 2 bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Neville toppled Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 3-2, in a league bout.
The Warhorses now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Prep Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 15. Peabody will confront a squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The record now stands at 3-5.
