St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Albans upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Westminster Christian lost 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE)
With the defeat, Archbishop Curley falls to 2-1 on the season. The Friars travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 30. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 2-3.
