The Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) baseball trounced the host Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA), 15-6 in Thursday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Bears play the East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA) in a 4A Area 8 contest, on Monday, March 18. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 2-13 record after their 14-7 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).
The Raiders now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson County for a 6A Area 8 contest on Monday, March 18.
