With the win, East Webster upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Wolverines host East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to battle the Urchins in a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. The Urchins come into the test with a record of 5-2.

With the defeat, North Pontotoc falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to play the Cougars in a 4A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, March 19. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 5-3. South Pontotoc lost 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Adamsville (Adamsville, TN)
