Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) and the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), saw Ledford's baseball squad knock off Northern Guilford by a count of 15-5.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 16. Ledford will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 6-2 league win over Page (Greensboro, NC).

The Nighthawks now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a Metro 4A match on Friday, March 15. Northern Guilford will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.
