The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Ninilchik Wolverines to 42 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league contest on Friday, March 15. Petersburg will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 48-45 non-league win over Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-5.
The Wolverines (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Wrangell was nudged by Cordova (Cordova, AK), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
