In Thursday's non-league game, the host Farmington Scorpions baseball team scored a nice 20-3 victory over the Gallup Bengals.
The Scorpions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Los Lunas overcame Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 9-1, in a non-league game.
The Bengals (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Grants was overwhelmed by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 18-7, in a non-league contest.
