In Thursday's non-league game, the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Pius X Thunderbolts.
The Silver Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Patriots go into the game with a 2-0 record.
The Thunderbolts (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Lincoln Southeast tipped Kearney (Kearney, NE), 10-9, in a non-league game.
