In Thursday's non-league contest, the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 16. University will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Sharks come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA).

The Comanches now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Irvine for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 18.
