West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 19. West Potomac will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA).

The Majors now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host McLean for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21.
