Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) followers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), 10-0 in a league test.

The War Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Thomson for a 2A Area 4 test on Tuesday, March 19. Putnam County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Westside drops to 2-4 on the season. The Patriots host Butler (Augusta, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 4 test on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-3. Butler won 8-2 in their recent league test against Laney (Augusta, GA)
