In Thursday's non-league match, the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) softball squad triumphed over the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 16-1.
The Sartans now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. St. Pius X will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Albuquerque Academy falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Demons in a non-league match on Friday, March 15. The Demons enter the match with a record of 3-4. Santa Fe lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
