The Chieftains now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host El Capitan for a non-league match on Saturday, March 16. Clairemont will face a Vaqueros squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Calexico falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA) to face the Barons in a non-league match on Saturday, March 16.
