North Carolina High School Softball - Cornerstone Charter topped by Clover Garden School

March 14, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27409

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 16-0.

The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Knights go into the Central Tar Heel 1A battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Chatham Charter topped Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Leadership Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A battle on Tuesday, March 19. Cornerstone Charter will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
