In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Krum Bobcats softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Connally Cadets.

Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 outing, on Tuesday, March 19. Krum will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Bullfrogs enter the outing with a 9-9 record after their 19-9 non-league loss to Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).

The Cadets (1-10) will now prepare for their outing against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets enter the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Robinson was nipped by Forney (Forney, TX), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
