The San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) softball the host Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), 11-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Newport Harbor was routed by Marina (Huntington Beach, CA), 12-2, in a league bout.

The Jaguars now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Katella for a Golden West bout on Friday, March 15. Segerstrom will confront a Knights squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
