New Mexico High School Softball - Valley gets by Sandia

March 14, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87107

The Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) softball nipped the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 7-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Albuquerque held off Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 17-2, in a non-league bout.

The Matadors now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. Sandia will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-2.
