The Cuthbertson Cavaliers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls to 2 in the Cavaliers non-league win on Friday.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Cuthbertson will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Hickory Ridge drops to 5-3 on the year. The Ragin' bulls host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Greater Metro 4A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 5-3. Mooresville won 13-2 in their recent non-league test against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)
