The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) and the visiting Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), saw McMichael's baseball team gain a win over Dudley by a tally of 10-0.

The Phoenix (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Rams enter the Mid-State 2A battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Reidsville prevailed over Triad Baptist Christian Academy (Kernersville, NC), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a Mid-State 3A battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Dudley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 16-0 league loss to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC).
