The Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) baseball trounced the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 22-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponder for a 3A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Paradise will clash with a Lions team coming off a 13-7 league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-8.

With the defeat, Gainesville drops to 0-13 on the year. The Leopards host Bonham (Bonham, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Bonham lost 12-4 in their recent league challenge against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX)
