The Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) baseball trounced the host Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA), 12-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wampus Cats now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host DeRidder for a 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Leesville will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Dragons record now stands at 7-11.
With the defeat, Simpson drops to 2-3 on the year. The Broncos host Oak Hill (Hineston, LA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 7-5.
