The Parkers Chapel Trojans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Taylor Tigers to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gurdon for a 2A Region 8 test on Monday, March 17.

With the defeat, Taylor drops to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host West Side (Greers Ferry, AR) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-1. West Side won 14-10 in their recent league test against Viola (Viola, AR)
