The Sparkman Senators baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting West Union Eagles to 1 in the Senators non-league win on Friday.

The Senators now hold a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Sparkman will play a Purple Wave team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Purple Wave record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, West Union drops to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles host Houlka (Houlka, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Region 4 test on Monday, March 17. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-7.
